P-2 Sports Day

Nicholas had his sports day last week which involved the grade preps, one's and two's mixing with other local schools and participating in various sports...

Jamie at School

Well...not quite technically! Jamie has been having his transition mornings at primary school and last week he wore his uniform. So excited about it that he wore it all day and even asked to sleep in it at night...this Friday will be his last morning and then I daresay it will be a long few weeks of holidays with Jamie asking when he will be going to school..!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Jamie and Chloe celebrated their birthdays yesterday with a birthday party with family and friends. Jamie turned 5 yesterday and had the most wonderful day and received some fantastic gifts. Chloe had already turned 3 of 1st August but still received some lovely gifts as well. A photo of the birthday boy with Chloe and of their respective birthday cakes!

Welcome Isabella!

We met our gorgeous new niece/cousin yesterday, Isabella Therese...still not sure who she looks like but I think she definately has a bit of 'Jury' in her! Mother and baby are doing well...Nicholas, Jamie and Chloe are very excited about the new addition to the family! Well done and congrats to Simon and Priscilla!! XOX

Cross Country!

Nicholas' school had their annual cross country race at the Lethbridge Lake on Friday, their last day of school. I'm happy to say that Nicholas' came 2nd in his prep boys race...he was leading from the last half of the race but stopped for one of his friends who subsequently came first! Well done Nicholas!!

Thomas the Tank Engine Fun Run

Last weekend, Nicholas, Jamie, Chloe and myself went to Drysdale for the Thomas Fun Run, Dad and Wendy also came along. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a great time. Chloe did well in her little fun run, she was winning but slowed in the end to look around for me! Jamie was a DNS...as I watched all the other kids run past I missed him and came to the conclusion he was just super-fast...no...still standing on the start line! Nicholas also ran well and came in about 10th. The kids all received show bags and certificates for their efforts! We also enjoyed a ride on the 'troublesome trucks' which they thoroughly enjoyed!

Another Day Of 1st's!

Today was also another first day for both Jamie and Chloe. Jamie started 4yo kinder today and Chloe started Family Day Care, both were really happy to be going and there were even no tears from Chloe! Nicholas was also keen to go to school today - ready at 8am and nagging to get going!

First Day of School!

Yes, Nicholas had his first day of school today...he was very excited, jumped straight out of bed this morning with a big grin on his face. He was ready to go by 8 o'clock...let's hope this happens everyday! I feel a bit lost without him even though he's been to kinder and I've still got Jamie and Chloe with me...this is sad, but I'm counting down the clock until I see him this afternoon! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Well Happy New Year to everyone! It has been sooo long since I've blogged but we've been a bit flat out at the minute! Our house has finally been 'signed off' after 2 years (2 YEARS!!) so much moving stuff around to where it should be (I have so much more than I thought!! lol) But we will get there! I've also been busy studying and got a HD (high distinction) on my first assignment (yay me!!) for Cert 3 in Children's Services...I also have my Senior First Aid certificate this Wednesday so have been studying to pass that too (bit scared about that one!) One of my GF's also had a baby boy nearly 3 weeks ago - welcome Thomas David! My step-sister had her twin boys a week ago - Thomas Gregory and Lachlan William (both just over 6 pounds each - ouch!) We visited my sister-in-law over the weekend and she is due with her first at the end of April so it's just babies all round! Also starting to get Nicholas' things together for Prep this year...he is so excited and just can't wait to start...the first of my babies to start school - where has the time gone?! The kids recently went to a dress-up party for a kinder friend of Nicholas'...here they are with Chloe as 'Stephanie' and Jamie as 'Sportacus' from 'Lazy Town,' and Nicholas as a pirate...
