Jamie received his birthday present from Mum a little late...when I bought it home for him he just loved it...for the first couple of weeks he insisted on wearing it everywhere and told us that his name was not 'Jamie' but 'Sportacus'...

Bathroom Tiles

Well we have started to lay down tiles in our bathroom...very exciting...can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel (so to speak!) Nearly everything is painted...just need to do the feature wall in Nicholas' room and finish off the walk-in wardrobe area...waiting for the carpet layer to come and measure up as we have chosen our carpet...it's all go at the minute!!

Bubbles & Cheer!

Chloe was lucky enough to get some lovely presents...2 that have been a huge hit are her bubble machine and her Care Bear 'Cheer Bear.' An update on our renovations...I've nearly finished painting...just need to do the feature wall in Nicholas' new room and finish off our walk-in wardrobe area..will publish photos soon! Start tiling in the ensuite tomorrow...yay! Have chosen carpet and just waiting for that to be measured...we can see the light at the end of the tunnel..!

Happy Birthday Jamie!!

Happy Birthday to Jamie who turned 4 on Saturday...we had a combined party for both him and Chloe with close family and friends. Jamie was so excited to finally get his bike from us and his fire truck from Belinda...they were all he wanted!! Their cake was a castle and that was quickly demolished after blowing out the candles...a lovely day had by all with Jamie and Chloe receiving some lovely presents...thank goodness we've got an extra room to put it all in!!!

Happy birthday to our darling little Princess, Chloe - 2 already! Where does the time fly to?! we celebrated her birthday on Tuesday as Matt is away in Moura at the moment...a pink cake with butterflies which the kids helped to make. She loved her teaset but REALLY LOVED her 'Upsy Daisy' doll and book...photo's to come as my camera is also away on holidays so you'll all have to make do with this one of Chloe! Happy birthday also to one of my wonderful girlfriends Kylie...yay!!

More Flowers!

Some pictures of Chloe after we collected some jonquils from our garden...she was in charge of carrying them and kept pointing them out and saying 'more flowers!' She then helped to put them in a vase, I gave her the first stem for her to put in and she put it in upside down and she swished it around!

Plaster's Nearly Finished!

A quick update, our plaster is in the process of being 'stopped' up so we are just about ready to begin painting!! Yay!! Paint is ready to go and Nicholas' new room is first on the agenda...a bit of a disagreement with Nicholas wanting a red room as it is his favourite colour however I want it to be green..I sweetened him up by telling him we would buy some 'red' things for his room...! Top pic is of Nicholas's room and the other is our rumpus area...

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy birthday to my dad who turned 58 on Sunday...just before we blew out the candles on our birthday cake...how impressed do the kids look? Mind you, they all came down with colds the next day!!

Love Is In The Air

Big congratulations to Matt's dad Mick and to his new wife Julie. They tied the knot Saturday 12th in front of their family and close friends. Nicholas was page boy and looked very dashing in his suit along and Julie looked just lovely in her dress...Nicholas, Jamie and Chloe all dressed up ready for a big night of partying!!

Big Girl's Bed

Yes, Chloe has made the move in to her 'big girl's bed.' She absolutely loves it! Her first comment after seeing it put together? 'Ooh...jumping, jumping!' Hmmm...I think not!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yes, I finally hit the big 3-4 on Thursday...bit of a quiet day really...pilates in the morning and a lazy day for the remainder of the day! Nicholas was quiet insistent that my birthday cake HAD to be a carrot cake (?) ...I think he has been watching too much 'Peppa Pig!' After one bite he promptly said it was yuck while Chloe and Jamie happily ate theirs with Jamie proclaiming it was now his favourite! Nicholas helped make the actual cake while Chloe had her first turn in the kitchen and helped with the icing...yum!

Quacky Came To Stay..!

This long weekend Nicholas bought home Quacky Duck from his kinder...we have to write about our weekend with Quacky in 'Quacky's Friends' book. A busy weekend for Quacky and Nicholas...motorbike riding, playing in the new sandpit we built at the caravan...it was a big weekend for Quacky and we were very happy to have him stay with us!

Big Boys Toys...

Matt's friend Simon asked him to help out driving a dump truck recently...Nicholas and Jamie went along for the ride although I'm not too sure who enjoyed themselves the most - Matt or the boys!

Happy 5th Birthday Nicholas!!

Thursday 24th saw our oldest son Nicholas turn the big 5! He had his party the previous Saturday at McDonald's with family and friends. All the kids had a fantastic time and Nicholas received some really lovely presents...here is the birthday boy with his ice-cream cake and also Jamie and Chloe tucking into their Happy Meals. We also had our friend Chantelle for tea on Wednesday night (another cake!), some kinder friends around for lunch on Thursday (another cake!) and Uncle Danny around for tea on Thursday night (another cake!) I'm seriously all 'caked out!' Happy birthday darling boy! xox

Market Day!

Sunday 20th saw me spend all day at our local primary school's market day...met many people although takings weren't that great! Hopefully news has spread that there is a scrapbooking consultant in the town and it is the start of bigger and better things to come! Today is also Matt and mine's 6th wedding anniversary...'happy anniversary lovee!'

Grand Prix Weekend

Had a fantastic weekend! Matt and I spent Saturday at the Grand Prix in the Castrol corporate box...sooo much food, drink and a perfect possie under the marquee to watch all the action. I was lucky enough to meet Russell Ingall and Steve Richards, such lovely blokes, and had a photo taken with them. Just a really, really great day! Sunday was just as good (for me!) Spent a lovely 4-hour afternoon lunch with Kylie and Rebecca (no kiddies!) and it was soooo relaxing...must do it again soon! Also, a layout for my calendar of the gorgeous Miss. Chloe...I love this paper and have been dying to use it!

Grandma's 80th

My Grandma is about to turn the big 8-0 next week so I thought I'd put together a little keepsake of her with her great-grand kiddies...the front page has a pic with her and Nicholas, Jamie and Chloe with each of the other pages having a pic of her and each of the kids...I enjoyed making this and am really pleased with how it turned out!

We Have Plaster!!

Finally - we have plastered!! Just about finished, we ran out of glue and screws but only have one more large piece and the small fiddly pieces around the bottom of the walls to put in but then we are DONE!! Good job Matt! Nicholas and Jamie were also on hand to give their Uncle Danny a hand with the drill...

Back to Kinder...Again!

So it was Jamie's turn to officially start kinder - unfortunately he missed yesterday as both the boys were up all Sunday night being sick in the toilet, though they are both feeling much better now. Jamie was proud as punch to be going although today was only a 1 hour 'getting to know you' session and I know he was itching to stay longer! I think all the kids were pretty pleased about it..!
